Rev. Jason Hawk

 

Jason Hawk was born and raised in the farm town of Marion, OH. From this home setting sprung a passion for everything outdoors. However, he would later relocate to the Columbus suburb of Grove City, OH where he met a beautiful young girl named Courtney. They married in 2000, and have the joy of raising three incredible children: Christopher (9), Sophia (8), and Zoe (20 mo). Along with being a Labor and Delivery Nurse, Courtney too is passionate for Christ and His Church, and in supporting Jason’s call.

 

Pastor Jay was called into the ministry at a young age while attending a church camp. Though he began his studies at the Ohio State University as a Pre-Med student, in response to a perpetual and clear vocational call to the pastorate, he enrolled at Ohio Christian University for Christian ministry, graduating valedictorian. In addition to his undergraduate studies, he has also done graduate work at Asbury Theological Seminary, and is currently enrolled at Nazarene Theological Seminary.

 

For the past 14 years, Jason has been involved in pastoral ministry, beginning at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, but serving also in Kentucky, Florida, and Ohio. A pastor at heart, you will find his is a relational and formative ministry. He is passionate about preaching and teaching, family ministry, discipleship, and equipping missional leaders.

 

True to his roots, he still loves all things outdoors. He enjoys getting together with people around food, and likes to hike, golf, fish, garden, read, and especially just being with his family.
